I work with clients who may experience one or many the following:
Individual therapy is designed to help you overcome personal challenges and achieve your goals. I strive to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behaviour, and develop strategies for positive change. I specialize in supporting individuals to heal from trauma and resolve symptoms such as anxiety, depression, anger, panic, low self esteem and relationship issues. Book a session today and lets connect!
As an EMDR Therapist, I am passionate about this type of treatment, because I know it works! I work with you to determine your goals in healing from past traumas which may be impacting you today. Please see the EMDR page to read more about how it might be helpful for you.
EMDR Intensives are designed for individuals seeking focused, accelerated progress in their healing journey. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, or a major life transition, these extended sessions provide the time and space needed to process deeply without the interruption of weekly schedules.
In a safe, supportive environment, we’ll use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to target the root causes of distress, reduce emotional triggers, and help you reconnect with a sense of calm and stability. Intensives allow for deeper immersion in the work, so you can experience meaningful change in days or weeks rather than months.
Ideal for those who prefer a concentrated approach, live out of town, or want to address a specific issue quickly, EMDR Intensives combine clinical expertise with compassionate care—helping you step into your life with more clarity, freedom, and resilience.
Your journey begins with a **90-minute virtual intake session** where we explore your goals, history, and readiness for intensive work. From there, we’ll schedule your **6-hour EMDR Intensive**, tailored specifically to your needs.
All intensives are offered virtually—allowing you to participate from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Research and experience confirm that EMDR is just as effective online as it is in person, so you can expect the same quality of care and results no matter where you are.
This immersive approach is ideal for those who:
* Prefer concentrated progress over weekly sessions
* Live out of town or have busy schedules
* Want to address a specific issue quickly and deeply
I started my practice as a CBT Therapist after I completed my Masters Degree with a focus on CBT and the treatment of trauma. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is an evidenced based treatment that supports you in overcoming challenging thought patterns, behaviours and feelings. Please reach out to see if CBT might be the right therapy for you!
Virtual counselling appointments available through a safe and confidential platform that you can access from your home computer.
In-person counselling appointments are offered now. The office is spaced to allow physical distancing.
Using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, I help you process and heal from traumatic experiences, enabling you to move forward with greater resilience. Complemented by CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), we address negative thought patterns and develop healthier coping mechanisms to restore emotional balance.
Here are some of the ways I integrate CBT and EMDR in my therapy practice:
CBT is used to challenge and shift the negative thinking patterns associated with depression, while EMDR can target and process past traumas that may be exacerbating your depressive symptoms. This combined approach aims to restore hope and improve your overall mood.
With CBT, we work on identifying and altering the irrational thoughts and behaviors fueling your anxiety. EMDR can also be incorporated to address any underlying traumatic events or stressors that contribute to your anxiety, helping you achieve a greater sense of calm and control.
CBT techniques are utilized to challenge and change the negative thought patterns contributing to low self-esteem, while EMDR can help process past experiences that undermine your self-worth. Together, these approaches foster a more positive self-image and greater self-confidence.
Through CBT, we’ll explore and modify unhelpful beliefs and behaviors that may be impacting your relationships. EMDR can also be used to address and heal any past experiences that affect your current relationship dynamics, helping you build stronger, healthier connections.
By utilizing CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), we’ll identify and address the thought patterns and behaviors contributing to your stress. By learning practical techniques to manage stress and develop healthier coping strategies, you can improve your resilience and achieve a greater sense of balance in your daily life.
